What can I expect?
Our Coupling events are an excellent way to meet new people. We provide a fast fun and safe way for you to meet a whole room full of eligible singles who want to meet someone just like you. You'll have an enjoyable night of conversation, up to twenty dates and the opportunity to mix and mingle during our refreshment breaks.
How does speed dating work?
Each person on arrival will be presented with a name badge, number and tick sheet. The ladies will start the evening by sitting at their matching table number and remain at the same table throughout the evening. The guys will start the evening by sitting opposite their matching number. Each date will last approximately four minuets, allowing sufficient time to record key facts. The guys will be asked to move onto the next table number in sequence at the sound of a bell. At the end of the evening we will ask you to take your tick sheets with you. The following day you can use our online matching system to enter in the people you would like to see again for friendship or romance. Our online system will automatically email you each time you match with one of your choices. A match occurs where two people have expressed an interest in each other.
Do I need an account?
Yes, you will need to create an account with us so you can use our online matching system. This will enable you to decide who you may like to see again for friendship or possibly romance. Your account is created automatically when you purchase a ticket.
How do I book a place?
It is essential that you pre book, places are restricted to 20 girls and 20 guys to ensure the male/female ratio is equal. This can be done using our online booking system, simply press the events tab, select a venue and date, and press the book button. You will be taken through a signup process where you will create your personal account. Alternatively contact us and one of our friendly staff will be happy to arrange the booking.
What form of payment do you accept?
We use Paypal and Paypal Express Checkout. We accept Switch, Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Visa, Delta and Electron. You can also pay on the door with cash, although you will need to pre- book your place to ensure that our ratio of males/females is equal. If you wish to pay by cash please e-mail us by clicking on the contact tab at the top of this page, a member of our team will then get back to you as soon as possible.
What should I bring?
When you book using the events tab, we will automatically send you an e-mail conformation with a unique booking reference. You are required to present this to one of our hosts on entry.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
The event's success relies on an even ratio of males and females and late cancellations or “no shows” can jeopardise the enjoyment of other visitors. If you are unable to attend an event, please contact us as soon as possible via e-mail and we will do our best to slot you into another coupling event. Please view section 7 of our terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds.
Can I attend more than one speed dating event?
Of Course. We generally hold two events a month in the towns and cities listed, many of our customers enjoy the events so much they bring friends with them to share the experience, and of course the more events you attend, the more likely you are to find a successful coupling match.
Why do I need to show contact details to people I match with?
Our online matching system requires that you enter in an email address, so when you match with someone they have a way of getting in touch with you. You can also enter in your mobile number. If you would prefer not to use a work email address or even your own private email you can always create a brand new address by using any number of email providers such as hotmail or yahoo. Registration of a new email address is a quick and easy process but if you would like some advice or guidance then feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.
