How Speed Dating Works
On arrival each guest will be presented with a name badge, number and a personal tick booklet. The ladies will start the evening by sitting at their matching table number and remain at the same table throughout the evening. The guys will start the evening by sitting opposite their matching number. Each date will last approximately four minutes, allowing sufficient time to tick people you may like to see again for either romance or friendship. The guys will be asked to move onto the next table number after each date in sequence at the sound of a bell.
At the end of the evening you can take your Coupling tick booklet home with you and use it to jog your memory about the people you have met. Our web site will be updated the following day to allow you to complete an online form where you can submit your ticks to either match with someone for romance or friendship. A match occurs when two people express an interest in one another. Our online system will automatically email you with any matches you have or if you prefer we can phone you or text you to let you know.
